STEVE LETWIN

Chairman

Steve Letwin brings over 30 years of experience from the resource sector, where he specializes in corporate finance, operational management, and merger and acquisitions, including 10 years as President and CEO of IAMGOLD.

Prior to joining IAMGOLD, Mr. Letwin was based in Houston, Texas, where he was the Executive Vice President, Gas Transportation & International, with Enbridge Inc. Before joining Enbridge, he served as President & Chief Operating Officer of TransCanada Energy. Mr. Letwin holds an MBA from the University of Windsor, is a Certified General Accountant, a graduate of McMaster University (B.Sc., Honors), and a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management Program.

 

Steve Robertson

STEVE ROBERTSON

Director

Steve Robertson is a Canadian geologist with over 30 years of mining industry related experience, having played a key role in building and advancing projects from exploration through to production in British Columbia including the nearby Silvertip and Red Chris mines. Mr. Robertson was awarded the 2016 E.A. Scholz Award for Excellence in Mine Development for his leadership role in the development of Imperial Metals’ Red Chris mine, now majority owned by Newcrest Mining, and roughly 200 km from the Cassiar Gold project on Highway 37.

Mr. Robertson’s responsibilities during his 24-year tenure at Imperial Metals, which developed and/or operated five mines, included oversight of exploration, government relations, permitting, community relations, aboriginal affairs and corporate communications. He is currently the President, CEO & Director of Infinitum Copper and was previously the founding CEO of Sun Metals where he guided the company through a public listing, a significant copper gold discovery and two corporate mergers. Mr. Robertson is actively engaged within the mining community, serving as a director for AME BC and previously sitting on the Geoscience BC Technical Advisory Committee.

 

Michael Wood

JAMES MAXWELL

Director

A professional geoscientist with over 20 years of experience focused on exploration and development of orogenic gold discoveries, Mr. Maxwell has been part of discovery teams responsible for five major gold discoveries in Nunavut and Red Lake, Ontario. He is currently the VP Exploration for First Mining Gold Corp. and was previously the Director of Exploration for Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. where he helped establish a 6-million-ounce gold resource base from discovery to the feasibility study level. Prior to working in Nunavut, Mr. Maxwell established an early career in the Birch-Uchi and Red Lake Greenstone belts where his team earned the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association Discovery of the Year Award for the Rahill-Bonanza discovery. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba with a focus on geological sciences and is registered with the Professional Geoscientists Ontario and the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.

 

Christopher Stewart

CHRISTOPHER STEWART

Director

Christopher Stewart is a Professional Engineer with over 30 years of management, operational and technical experience in the mining industry. Mr. Stewart began his career working for DMC Mining where he built, expanded, and operated various mine operations across Canada and the USA. He then transitioned over to the company side of the mining business, working with several mining companies in senior leadership roles including being the President & CEO for Minto Metals, Treasury Metals and Liberty Mines. He was also the President & COO for McEwen Mining which had operations in Canada, USA, Mexico and Argentina and was the Vice President of Operations for Kirkland Lake Gold where he led the impressive operational turn around of the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON, Canada. Mr. Stewart is also currently a Director for Canadian Critical Minerals (CCMI.V) and ESGold (ESAU.CN) and owns CWS Mining Services, a small mining consulting company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University.

 

Michael Wood

MICHAEL WOOD

Director

Michael Wood holds a BSc. in Economics from Cardiff University and an MBA from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He started his career in Wealth Management in London, before joining the Metropolitan Police, where he progressed to be a detective conducting Counter Terrorism Investigations for Scotland Yard's Counter Terrorism Command (SO15). Mr. Wood is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Reyna Gold, which holds a portfolio of gold projects in Mexico; and Chief Financial Officer and director at Reyna Silver Corp. He is also a director at Emerging Markets Capital, a Hong Kong based private investment and advisory firm focused on natural resources.
