Senior Geologist
Cassiar Gold Corp., an exciting and fast-growing publicly traded resource exploration company, is looking for a hardworking, cautious and motivated Senior Geologist to join our dynamic and expanding team for our upcoming exploration programs at our flagship Cassiar Gold Property near Jade City in Northern BC.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and leading an active diamond drilling program in a fast paced, remote environment
- Demonstrate leadership and active participation in the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental program while upholding statutory requirements
- Supervision of on-site personnel and contractors
- Implement and uphold best practice industry procedures
- Data collection, interpretation, modeling, and target development and ranking
Qualifications:
- University degree(s) in Geology or equivalent
- EGBC professional registration or transferable equivalent
- 7-10 years of experience in mineral exploration in Canada, preferably in gold
- Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills
- Experience and success in camp-based mineral exploration
- Experience in supervision of exploration personnel and contractors
- Strong work ethic; ability to stay focused and deliver whether in a busy work environment or working independently
- Demonstrated safety focus
- Valid First Aid certification
Work will be on a scheduled rotation during the field season which is typically from May through October. Work will be conducted remotely in the off-season.
Pay will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive employee benefits package is available.

Project Geologist

- Demonstrate leadership and active participation in the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental program while upholding statutory requirements
- Daily supervision of on-site personnel and contractors
- Oversee and uphold day-to-day application of best-practice industry procedures
- Data collection and interpretation; participation in planning and modeling
Qualifications:
- University degree(s) in Geology or equivalent
- EGBC professional registration or transferable equivalent
- 5-7 years of experience in exploration work in Canada, preferably in gold
- Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills
- Experience and success in camp-based mineral exploration
- Experience in supervision of exploration personnel and contractors
- Strong work ethic; ability to stay focused and deliver, whether in a busy work environment or working independently
- Demonstrated safety focus
- Valid First Aid certification

Camp Manager
Cassiar Gold Corp. requires a hardworking, motivated CAMP MANAGER to join our team for the upcoming exploration program at Jade City, BC.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair work to keep camp operating smoothly and safely.
- Diverse tasks may include repairs, clearing of roads/walkways, light construction, expediting, and inspections of facilities, infrastructure, and vehicles in support of exploration program.
- Coordinate contractors and tradespeople as required.
Work will be on a rotation basis from late May through October. Some work may be conducted remotely in the off-season.
Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Experience and success in managing camp operations.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of some or all: water and septic systems, carpentry, vehicle maintenance, electrical, large appliances, equipment operation.
- Strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated safety focus.
- Valid driver’s license is essential for this role. Air brakes qualification is an asset.
- Valid First Aid certification.

Environmental/Geological Technician
Cassiar Gold Corp. requires a hardworking, careful, motivated ENVIRONMENTAL/GEOLOGICAL TECHNICIAN to join our team for the upcoming exploration program at Jade City, BC. Duties may include:
- Vegetation surveys and soil disturbance monitoring
- Surface water sample/data collection
- Collecting piezometer readings
- Wildlife surveys
- Moving, labeling, measuring and marking drill core
- Preparing drill core samples and sample shipments
- Assisting Geologists with all tasks in the core facility
Training and protective equipment will be provided (except boots). The program is expected to run from late May through October, 2023. Work will be on a rotation of 28 days on, 14 days off. Meals, accommodation, and travel included. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- Good computer/data management skills are important for this job. Experience with in-field navigation is an asset.
- Ability to stay focused in a busy work environment and comfortable working in variable weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old, reasonably fit, and able to lift 50 pounds.
- Previous experience as an environmental field technician or geotechnician is ideal but not essential. We’re seeking workers who are consistent, organized, and reliable.
- A valid Driver's License and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Your own steel-toed boots are required to work at site.
