DAVID RHYS
Chief Technical Advisor
Mr. Rhys is a consulting geologist with over 28 years of experience in the mining industry applying geological studies with a structural focus to exploration, development and mining. Mr. Rhys has extensive experience in gold deposits, having worked globally on numerous gold districts of various types for a variety of clients including both major and junior companies. He has conducted direct, field-based geological studies on deposits which collectively contain over 600 million ounces of gold and over 2 billion ounces of Ag, including the major deposits of the Carlin Trend and region; most producing and historical mines in the Southern Abitibi Greenstone Belt (Timmins deposits, Canadian Malartic, Kirkland Lake Macassa, Detour Lake, Val d'Or); several major epithermal deposits (e.g. Pueblo Viejo, Yanacocha, Round Mountain, Waihi, Kupol, Guanajuato); and in orogenic gold districts in Africa (e.g. Chirano, Damang, Sabodala, Fekola), Mexico (La Herradura), western North America and Australia (Fosterville, Pine Creek district). In addition, Mr. Rhys has broad experience in uranium deposits of the Athabasca Basin, porphyry systems, and VMS deposits. His focus is on advanced projects and active mining operations, aiding in the interpretation of mine site ore controls and applications of mine geology to local and district scale exploration activities. Mr. Rhys also provides training to geological teams to aid in the application of consistent and relevant data collection, and of field based interpretive methods to clients’ technical staff.
Jorge Ramiro Monroy

Jorge Ramiro Monroy is a Mexican mining entrepreneur and investor based in Hong Kong. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Emerging Markets Capital, an investment firm based in Hong Kong and investing primarily in mining exploration equities listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Having spent the majority of his career in Asia, Jorge has founded a number of businesses with Asian Capital doing business in North America. Jorge is the CEO and Founder of Reyna Silver, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company with silver exploration projects in Mexico and the US. Jorge currently serves on the boards of Sierra Madre Gold and Silver and Arabian Shield Resources He is a former director of Prime Mining and a Director of Garra Esports, a private company looking to build an Esports business in Latin America.
Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, an MBA in Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Spanish and Portuguese and has passed the level III HSK Chinese Fluency Exam.
VERNON SHEIN
Advisor to the Board
Vernon Shein holds a B.Sc., Specialization Geology, from Concordia University and has 40+ years of exploration industry experience. He has worked on major gold exploration and development programs in eleven countries and has performed property evaluations in over twenty-five countries. Prior to joining Cassiar Gold Corp. he was the Exploration Manager for Bema Gold Corp. and its successor company B2GOLD Corp. for 18 years. His specialty is in advancing exploration programs through Preliminary Economic Assessment, Feasibility Study and then into production. Projects that he has managed from exploration through to production include the Kupol Mine in Russia, the Jabali Mine in Nicaragua and the Montana open pit at the Masbate Mine in the Philippines.
